We held our second virtual golf tournament on Tuesday June 23rd and Wednesday June 24th and it was a resounding success. The format was a Better-Ball Stableford to benefit our PME/CWGA Scholarship Fund. 111 members participated across 3 states and 34 golf courses! Results and pictures can be seen below.
Most importantly, with your generosity we have raised $1,845 from the entry fees and additional donations.
In 2020 the PME/CWGA Scholarship fund paid out almost $36 thousand to 17 young women scheduled to graduate between 2021 and 2024. The average scholarship is currently about $2,000 and these scholarships are renewable for up to four years of college expenses. The average GPA of our scholarship recipients was 3.6 and ranged from 3.2 to 4.0. If you'd like to learn more about the scholarship fund you can read about it on our website: https://cwga.org/Juniors
